Why do people choose to die? I ask that question in all seriousness. Two of our great patient advocates died this month of cancer who didn’t have to. So why did they choose to die? Well, I actually do have the answer to that question, but it doesn’t have to be the answer for everyone. People die when their spirit’s purpose on this earth is completed. But does that mean everyone with a chronic disease just has to give up and succumb to it? No. Because we don’t know what our spirit’s purpose is. But to win the battle against dying from disease, you have to know the method.
I didn’t know Dr. Jeffrey Fudin personally, but I was aware of his work. He was also aware of me and my work, I’m sure, because we were both connected in email groups. However, we never personally connected. He recently died of cancer. He knew it, even to the point of writing a post “from the grave”, that is on his blog paindr.com. We had different approaches to the chronic pain fiasco, but if he had just joined me in my ecourse and learned how to get rid of his cancer, he could still be with us today.
I did know Dr. Terri Lewis. We worked together on some projects, some public opinion surveys, and more. We respected each other and helped each other. So why didn’t she let me know she had cancer? She could have learned how to cure it. And now she is gone.
I have a personal friend whose 45 y/o son has colon cancer, has had surgery, radiation, and is now going through chemo with the doctors telling him he has 6 months to 7 years to live. Neither my friend nor her son has committed to learning how to cure his cancer. Folks, chemotherapy is not a cure! It just buys you time.
Are we just that dependent on conventional, non-healing western medicine that we can’t look past to the wonders of medicine that God created?
